Earnings Disclaimer

Please read this before you watch our free training, purchase Master Training: Overage Acquisition, or rely on anything on overageacquisition.com, in our videos, emails, advertising, coaching, or community (the "Services"). This disclaimer is part of our Terms of Service.

1. We do not guarantee income or results

Overage Acquisition, Inc. ("Overage Acquisition," "we," "us") makes no guarantee, promise, or representation that you will earn any money, recover any funds, sign any claimant, have any claim approved, or achieve any particular result from purchasing or using our course, coaching, templates, tools, lead sources, or any other material we provide.

Nothing on the Site, in our advertising, in the free training, in the course, or in any communication from us — including anything said by Grant Moreland or any coach on a call — should be understood as a promise of earnings. Any dollar figure we mention is an illustration of what has happened in specific cases or of what is possible. It is not an average, not a projection, and not what you should expect.

2. What the numbers on our site mean

We show figures such as $24.8M recovered, 42 counties worked, 3,217 claims reviewed, and 8 years in business. Those numbers describe the history of our own company, Overage Acquisition, since 2018. They were produced by our own team, working full time, over years, with the experience, capital, relationships, and systems that we built along the way. They are not the results of people who bought our course, and they do not describe what a course purchaser has earned, will earn, or is likely to earn. We provide them to explain our background, not to predict yours.

The example we use in training — a $10,000 tax debt, a $100,000 sale, and a $90,000 overage — is a simplified teaching example. Real overages range from a few hundred dollars to several hundred thousand, and most are far smaller than the examples chosen to illustrate the process.

3. Check images, case studies, and testimonials

Check images and case studies on the Site show real recoveries made by our own company on behalf of our own clients. They were selected to show the range of what is possible; they are not typical, and larger checks are shown more often than small ones. Fee figures shown alongside checks, where present, are examples of how a recovery fee is calculated, not a record of our earnings on that claim unless stated.

Testimonials and reviews reflect the individual experience of the person quoted. They are not representative of what a typical purchaser experiences, and they are not a guarantee that you or anyone else will achieve similar results. Where a testimonial was given in exchange for anything of value, we disclose it. Documentation supporting any specific figure or result shown on the Site is available on request at [email protected].

4. Typical results

We do not track the business results of every student, and we cannot tell you what a typical purchaser earns. What we can tell you is this: some purchasers will earn nothing. Some will earn less than they paid for the course. Some will never file a claim. A purchaser who does not do the work — pulling lists, researching owners, sending outreach, following up, and filing correctly — will not see results, and even a purchaser who does everything right can be denied a claim, beaten to a claimant by a competitor, or find that a county has few or no recoverable overages at a given time.

The statement on our Site that one successful claim could cover your investment is true in the sense that a single recovery fee can exceed the price of the course. It is not a statement that you will close a claim, that you will close one quickly, or that your first claim will be large enough to do so. Recovering the cost of the course on a first claim is possible but not typical and not guaranteed.

5. Your results depend on you and on things nobody controls

Surplus funds recovery is a real business, and like any business it takes work, judgment, time, and money to operate. Your results will depend on factors we do not control and cannot predict, including:

  • how much time and consistent effort you put in, and for how long;
  • your existing skills, background, sales ability, and business experience;
  • the jurisdictions you choose to work in and their rules, fee limits, licensing and bonding requirements, contact restrictions, and claim procedures;
  • the number and size of overages available in those jurisdictions at any given time, which changes with every auction;
  • competition from other recovery professionals, attorneys, and firms working the same lists;
  • your ability to locate, contact, and earn the trust of claimants, many of whom are hard to find or skeptical;
  • the processing times and decisions of county and state agencies, which can take months and can deny claims;
  • the cost of skip-trace services, mailings, records, and other expenses you choose to incur;
  • general economic and real estate market conditions; and
  • your compliance with the laws that apply to you.

6. This is not a get-rich-quick program, a job, or an investment

We do not offer, and we do not represent that we offer, a passive-income opportunity, a guaranteed income stream, employment, a job, a franchise, or an investment. We sell education and coaching. Building a recovery practice takes sustained work over months, and individual claims frequently take three to twelve months to resolve through the agencies involved, sometimes longer. Do not purchase with money you need for living expenses, and do not quit a job or make financial commitments on the strength of expected recoveries.

7. The 60-day guarantee is coaching, not money back

Our 60-day guarantee promises additional one-on-one coaching if you follow the system for 60 days and have not identified at least three overage cases worth pursuing. It is a commitment of our time. It is not a money-back guarantee, it is not a guarantee that you will earn anything, and it does not entitle you to a refund. See our Refund Policy.

8. Enrollment limits

We limit enrollment to a set number of students per quarter so that one-on-one coaching remains available to every student. That limit describes our coaching capacity; it is not a statement about demand, scarcity of overages, or the likelihood of your success.

9. No legal, financial, or tax advice

We are not attorneys, accountants, financial advisors, or licensed fiduciaries, and nothing we provide is legal, financial, investment, or tax advice. Laws governing surplus funds and excess proceeds recovery — including licensing requirements, permitted fees, contract requirements, notice requirements, and claim deadlines — vary substantially by state and county, and they change. Some states require a license, registration, or bond to solicit or represent claimants, and some cap the fee you may charge. Several restrict who may contact a former owner and when. You are solely responsible for determining which laws apply to you and for complying with them. Consult a qualified attorney licensed in the jurisdictions where you intend to operate before you begin.

10. Forward-looking statements

Any statement we make about future results, opportunities, the size of the market, the amount of unclaimed money sitting with counties, or the durability of this business is a forward-looking statement based on our experience and publicly posted county data. It is not a guarantee of performance. Actual results will differ, and the amount of recoverable money in any county can change with a single auction or a change in law.

11. Your acknowledgement

By watching the free training, purchasing from us, or using our materials, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this disclaimer; that no specific result or income has been promised to you; that you are solely responsible for your own business decisions, expenses, and outcomes; and that you accept the risk that you may not recover your investment in the course.
